A Climate Positive Conference

The Cultural Enterprises Conference is officially a Climate Positive Event, certified by Earthly. We’ve taken into account everything from attendee travel, food and beverages, to heating and electricity, to offset our carbon emissions.

What does offsetting mean? We’ve chosen to support Earthly’s projects protecting tropical rainforest, mangrove regeneration, and more. These are all independently accredited to ensure they actively reduce climate-negative emissions.

ICC Wales is committed to environmental excellence:

• Set in 93 hectares of maintained woodland offsetting 465 tonnes of CO2 each year
• Complimentary water refills with reusable bottles and sustainable disposables
• Active monitoring of water consumption to identify wastage
• 100% LED lighting
• Combined heat and power technology creates sustainable electricity
• Oil waste is converted to biodiesel
• Food waste is processed to generate renewable electricity
• 100% of waste is diverted from landfill.
