Katherine Jones
Katherine Jones is an award-winning architect and artist based in Cardiff. Her work connects people to the places they love. Drawing on over 13 years of architecture experience, her detailed pen and ink commissions are made up of intricate line work that create an unusual and rich tapestry of patterns.
Her original drawings make a special, one-off piece of art, and can also be turned into affordable digital prints and cards for your gift shop or clients, at accessible prices for your customers. Katherine manages the whole process, from creating the drawings to shipping, so you get exactly what you need, quickly and easily.
In the last few years, Katherine has been commissioned by organisations including St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the National Trust, the National Museum of Wales, Waddesdon Manor and Slimbridge (Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust). Her work is stocked at Tower Bridge, Cyfarthfa Castle, Battersea Power Station, RSPB shops, National Museum Cardiff and National Museums Liverpool, as well as various National Trust gift shops.
Katherine takes commissions for drawings of buildings, landscapes and wildlife. Each of her pieces consider the wider picture, but she also loves the smaller details. In her work, you’ll see layers of lines and textures, as well as attention to the tiny features that are often overlooked. From museums and cityscapes to historical houses and castles, Katherine seeks out the hidden details and reinterprets them to create stylish, meaningful prints, cards and products.
