The American Museum & Gardens in Bath is the only Museum dedicated to American arts and culture outside of the USA. Set in 125 acres of historic parkland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just outside the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, American Museum & Gardens combines the tranquillity of the countryside with the cultural vibrancy of the city. It is a visitor attraction offering a rich programme of events, exhibitions, beautiful gardens, and a stunning setting for private hires and weddings.
We are looking for two external advisors to join a small advisory board to help grow our commercial income across retail, catering and events. If you have strong commercial experience with P&L responsibility in hospitality or retail and have an interest in arts and culture, you could help us grow income to support this special heritage organisation.
The role is voluntary with expenses reimbursed. The commitment is light (quarterly meetings) and offers the opportunity to influence a unique cultural heritage organisation.
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 times per year
Daytime or evening meetings: daytime for 1.5 hours
