Hull Museums and Gallery is a multi-site local authority museums service with five museums, one art gallery and two historic ships. We are seeking to appoint a consultant to develop product ranges for the Ferens Art Gallery and Arctic Corsair, Hull’s last sidewinder deep sea trawler.
The Ferens Art Gallery, home to world class collections from late medieval to modern and contemporary art, will celebrate its centenary in November 2028 with an ambitious programme planned for 2027 and 2028.
The Arctic Corsair closed in 2018 as part of the Hull Maritime project. It is the last of three sites redeveloped as part of the north’s largest lottery funded project, having undergone restoration she is now berthed in her new home at North End Shipyard with a new purpose build visitor centre, due to open in spring 2027.
We are looking for a consultant to work with the team at Hull Museums and Gallery to boost our retail potential through bespoke and bought in ranges, maximising the opportunity presented by our amazing sites and collections.
