Cultural Enterprises Awards 2021

The Cultural Enterprises Awards will be opening very soon! Keep an eye on your inbox for more details including how to enter. In the meantime take a look at this year’s categories.

The Awards will be judged by a panel of expert retailers from across the sector, and presented in a Virtual Awards Ceremony at the Cultural Enterprises Conference.

As opening has been limited and varied across the country, this year’s Best Shop award will be judged not on sales but on how your shop teams have adapted to trading amid Covid restrictions and risen above the challenges to provide a fantastic retail experience.

Whether your online shop is well established or newly launched, it might just be award-winning! The Best Online Shop award is about creating a fantastic user experience whilst maximising profitability, whatever your budget or platform.

The Creative Commerce award celebrates the creativity which has sustained our sector over the last 12 months. Perhaps you’ve sourced a new revenue stream while your shop has been closed? Tell us about the creative new projects that are sustaining your organisation.

The Best Supplier Initiative award is for our Associate Members to enter. We’re looking for suppliers who have come up with a creative solution to sustain their business and/or partners, or even help the wider cultural sector over the last 12 months.

Have you created a unique Covid-related product? Bring us your stylish face masks and any other items that have been added to your ranges as a direct result of Covid – the quirkier the better, as the Best Covid Product award will be judged by member vote!

Sustainability remains a key issue for us all. If you’d like to enter the Green Award, tell us how you’ve been able to keep green issues at the heart of your business this year. Perhaps you’ve introduced a new green initiative or a new eco-friendly revenue stream?

This award recognises a personal Outstanding Contribution. Is there someone in your team who’s gone the extra mile? Perhaps they’ve stepped out of their role to support in another area or come up with an idea that’s benefited your organisation.
