Jarrold Publishing is a specialist heritage publisher, leading the way in award-winning design, beautiful photography, accessible editorial, exquisite illustration, and high-quality print services.

We work with 100s of historic houses, gardens, museums, galleries, and cathedrals to develop initial ideas and turn them into bold and beautiful publications that visitors want to buy. Services include:

Design: Our designers are specialists in book and cover art, and work closely with our clients, either in person or via a shared screen on Teams or Zoom, to discuss concepts and alterations to artwork.

Editorial: Our authors are highly experienced in the heritage sector, and visit our clients to discuss, research and gain first-hand knowledge from key-stakeholders before presenting a first draft.

Photography: A beautiful publication begins with beautiful photography. Our photographers are acknowledged experts in the heritage sector, with specific skills in architectural and collections photography. We also provide drone aerial photography and video.

Illustration: We offer 3D CGI character creation, architectural recreation and site maps, as well as traditional 2D illustration. So if you want to digitally recreate historical structures, create bespoke characters for a children’s book, or simply generate a floorplan, we can provide the right style for you.

Print: Finally, our dedicated print manager brings all these disciplines to life in beautifully printed books, catalogues, brochures and marketing materials, working with tried and tested quality FSC printers in the UK, EU and the Far East.
