Introduction
At GoCustom, we specialise in providing high-quality customised clothing solutions for businesses and organisations of all sizes. Our giftwear division (Kingfisher Giftwear) focuses on creating unique clothing designs for retail outlets at tourist attractions across the UK. We’re excited to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic Business Development team as an Account Manager.
This role offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely or from our offices in London or Shropshire. If you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and have a passion for building strong client relationships, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an extensive list of high-profile clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sell customised clothing into retail establishments at tourist attractions, presenting tailored solutions to meet clients’ needs.
- Travel to meet with clients, conduct presentations, and showcase product concepts at various locations across the UK.
- Actively manage and grow an assigned client portfolio, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Identify new business opportunities within the retail sector, leveraging industry knowledge and research to expand your client base.
- Regularly report on account activity, sales progress, and market insights to the Business Development leadership team.
Skill & Requirements
- Proven experience in selling goods into retail establishments, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with the giftwear or apparel industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large account portfolios and build lasting client relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present concepts and ideas to clients.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable travelling across the UK for client meetings and presentations as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools, coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as part of a remote or office-based team.
