Retail Essentials 1: Finance for Retailers

This practical workshop will cover all the important ways you can measure your shop’s performance as well as the basics of sound stock management.

You’ll receive a thorough view on all the important retail numbers - from the basics such as gross and net sales, profit, margin and mark-up, to a more in-depth consideration of how you can impact and influence your KPIs including conversion rate, spend per visitor and average transaction value.

Your trainer Perry Bushell has over 30 years' retail experience in both the cultural sector and high street, having held senior positions at the National Portrait Gallery, Waitrose, WH Smith and Waterstone’s.
