Bursaries and Subsidised Places

Bursaries

The Association for Cultural Enterprises is pleased to offer five bursary places. Each bursary covers two full days’ attendance at the 2020 Conference and Trade Show, including all conference sessions, daytime refreshments and Gala Dinner, as well as one nights’ accommodation and travel to and from Harrogate.

If you or a member of your team experience barriers to attendance, and a bursary could assist, please apply using the details below. We will consider a bursary application from anyone who would benefit.

Examples may include:
  • Attending from a small / low budget organisation
  • A disabled person (free carer registration available along with each bursary)
  • Under-represented groups in the industry
  • Organisations that are Full Members of the Association
  • Organisations that received fewer than 50,000 visitors in the last full year

Subsidised Places

The Association for Cultural Enterprises is also offering 20 subsidised Conference places to smaller venues, at £125 + VAT per person. The places, worth £360 + VAT at full price, cover two full days’ attendance at the 2020 Conference and Trade Show, including all conference sessions, refreshments and Gala Dinner.

The offer is on a first-come-first-served basis to staff from organisations that are Full Members of the Association and received fewer than 100,000 visitors in the last full year. The offer does not include travel or accommodation.

Both of these offers are limited to one delegate per organisation and are only available to organisations that were not awarded a place at last year’s conference. Bursaries and subsidised places are not available to Associate Members and/or other suppliers to the cultural sector.

To apply for a Conference bursary or subsidised place please email events@culturalenterprises.org.uk explaining how it would benefit your organisation.

Hugely valuable – I met some very good contacts and the talks were inspirational!
